In order to meet the demand for magnetic bearings in the Asian market, MECOS has decided to strike an agreement with MUTECS inc. of Osaka, Japan as an official distributor of MECOS products in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Mr. Hirochika Ueyama, CEO and founder of MUTECS Inc. has longstanding experience with the design, manufacturing and commissioning of active magnetic bearing systems.
Mr. Ueyama graduated as an electrical engineer from Kyoto Institute of Technology in 1983. He then worked for companies in the automotive sector and started research and development in the area of active magnetic bearings, his main focus being sensors, controller design, rotor dynamics and control units.
Since 1994 he has been a member of the „Steering Committee of the International Symposium of Magnetic Bearings“ as well as the „ISO Technical committee for the development of new magnetic bearing standard”. Additionally he is part of the Japanese workgroup for standardizing AMB.
Today, Mr. Ueyama has more than 24 years of experience with the design and manufacturing of active magnetic bearings in a wide range of applications.
