MAN Diesel & Turbo has completed the acquisition of MECOS Traxler AG. Following several years of joint research and development and a first successful compressor train installation with MECOS' magnetic bearing technology, a further step towards a close partnership has been taken. The acquisition by MAN Diesel & Turbo's Oil & Gas Business Unit in Zurich (Switzerland) will further push the joint growth, especially in the Oil & Gas business.
