A healthy economy and introduction of new products have led to demand for additional manpower and manufacturing space at MECOS.
As a consequence we have expanded our floor space by renting additional 1000 square meters in the same building. Transformation of this surface for several purposes is subject of important investments and a step-by-step plan to be realized over the next 18 months. One third will be used for optimization of our manufacturing procedures the other two thirds will accommodate commissioning and inspection rooms in order to have adequate premises for all of our customer’s systems. The first step has been terminated in December 2007 and our manufacturing is, after a short period of transition back to normal operation.
In order to reinforce our manufacturing team, additional full-time employees for assembly and for testing were hired.
