Hirochika Ueyama
Hirochika Ueyama graduated from electronics department of Kyoto Institute of Technology in 1983. He worked for automotive component suppliers in Japan where he started research work on Active Magnetic Bearings especially in AMB sensor and actuator design, rotordynamics and controls.

He also participates as member of the steering committee of the International Symposium of Magnetic Bearing since 1994 and the "ISO Technical committee for the development of new magnetic bearing standard". Furthermore, he is member of the Japanese working team for AMB standardization.

Today, Hirochika Ueyama has already more than 24 years experience in development and production of Active Magnetic Bearings for various kind of applications, and he started the company MUTECS in 2007 as official distributor of MECOS for Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
