Beat Aeschlimann has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Active Magnetic Bearings. His main interest are rotordynamics, controller design and modeling of dynamical systems. He joined MECOS in 2002 after having received a Ph.D. from EPF Lausanne in controller design for high precision magnetic bearings. Beat Aeschlimann also holds a M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich.
